Banjo Dan and the Mid-nite Plowboys band is notable based on their reputation in the local (Vermont area) blue grass music scene, issuing a dozen albums of original material over a 40-year span, and air play on radio programs devoted to blue grass such as West Virginia Public Broadcasting's bluegrass hour and Vermont Public Broadcasting.
