Her carelessness?[edit]

This text from the article was taken from a book written in Italian: "She is neither beautiful, intelligent nor bewitching, but her carelessness, sincerity and fidelity manage to make the protagonist forget his former companion..."

I've got to think the translation would be something like "carefree spirit" rather than "carelessness". Maybe you have the book? Help if you can. Biggleston (talk) 19:23, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That part is not a literal quote from the book (the book says "ragazza leggiadra che, anche se non bellissima, col suo spirito libero e danzante può far dimenticare a un uomo la bella ingrata che l'ha abbandonato"). It is, however, a literal translation of the article on the italian wikipedia, where the original word is "spensieratezza" which would translate as "lightheartedness". --Una giornata uggiosa '94 · So, what do you want to talk about? 23:34, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
