WP is an encyclopedia, as such as much specificity as possible should be used. To not denote a practice squad player as such is misleading. Which, for an encyclopedia is a bad thing. Onel5969TT me 10:30, 24 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Are we then going to denote active players, members of the injured reserve, etc.? Also, I feel that noting practice squad in some cases would be too long, for example, Bernhard Seikovits would then say, "Bernhard Seikovits (born July 24, 1997) is an Austrian professional American football tight end on the practice squad for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL)", which seems a bit lengthy to me. In addition, before mass changing hundreds of NFL articles, I believe this should at least be discussed at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject National Football League to see if other editors would prefer that.
