Wedding[edit]

'Quaint old medieval church'? It's in the Barbican Estate for God's sake, about as far from a traditional English village church as you can get, though it's certainly very old. This sounds as if it was lifted verbatim from some Indian gossip mag. I'll remove the guff. --Ef80 (talk) 20:11, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Birth date[edit]

There is no source in the article for her date of birth which is currently shown as 16 March 1977. It was shown as 16 March 1978 until an edit by 90.201.129.130 on 2015-10-03. Neither date was supported by any adjacent sources in the article. I have found several unreliable sources; some have 1977 and others 1978. Twistlethrop (talk) 05:55, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Character name inspiration?[edit]

Anyone have any idea if Ayesha's character's name (Yasmeen Khan) in Waterloo Road was an inspiration for the name of one of the current Doctor Who's companions, Yasmin Khan? I know that Ayesha only appeared in one episode of Doctor Who, but could it be, or is the similarity in names only because of the ancestral heritage of both women, and the likelihood of that name being used normally? 32.212.102.239 (talk) 18:19, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
