What happened to Avon Park Air Force Range?[edit]

I couldn’t help but notice that there is no record of the previous page Avon Park Air Force Range which was linked in several Wikipedia Pages. Avon Park Air Force Range had a lot of history information about operations after WWII including Cold War herbicides, and biological agent research and I think something about a prison. I looked at this pages history and there is no record of that page or the history ever being merged or redirected to this title. It’s just gone. The current article skips all history from 1945 to 2009 without any explanation. I am hoping someone can make sense of why this page simply replaced a much more developed page and restore the deleted history from Avon Park Air Force Range. Dear Johnvr4, the empty redlink at Avon Park Air Force Range states "15:11, 20 September 2017 Buckshot06 talk contribs deleted page Avon Park Air Force Range (G12: Unambiguous copyright infringement: LIsted at large-scale Wikipedia:Contributor copyright investigations/20130819 3 - Bwmoll3 copyvio)" So I deleted it as part of the large-scale User:Bwmoll3 copyvio case some six years ago. Yep, it looks like you deleted this as part of a cleanup in response to a prolific copyright violator. The most recent edit before the copyright violator started editing it is from 2008 - please ping me if you'd like this restored. Nick-D (talk) 05:10, 14 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nick-D, would you be so kind as to restore it and mark any potential problems with it. Can you determine whether the problematic areas required deletion of the entire article including the properly written and sourced content? Restoration indicates this was not required.

Next, I’ve edited it in the past but am probably unable to edit it again as it deals with topics of weapons which I’m now topic-banned from editing. Many of the topics I’ve written about seem to disappear at the hands of one administrator (not that this was the purpose of deleting Avon Park)

You might recall that Buckshot06 and I had a past beef in which you might have had some involvement too. It’s time to resolve it. The problem was over a sandbox draft I had of Operation Red Hat.

The Avon Park article has content that is somewhat related to the same topic.

Buckshot06 and I had previously disputed over content but then he claimed I wasn’t editing a sandbox draft to his or WP satisfaction and specifically made the false claim that I was not breaking it up into a smaller articles and it was “stale” (because it wasn’t being broken up). This claim was used to have this draft permanently deleted due to his false “stale article” allegation. There were plenty of diffs to prove it wasn’t stale which he was well aware of. After he nominated and had it deleted FOR BEING STALE, he came back to my talk page to say that of course it wasn’t stale and he used the wrong terminology and it deleted for other reasons instead (it’s still there too).

It was in fact deleted due to his stale allegation. I got in all kinds of trouble for restoring it and he got me topic banned and wrote his own version of the article.

So can you please do the right thing and see that Buckshot06 falsely claiming my sandbox draft was “Stale”directly led to my topic ban which he also nominated me for?

And then remove my topic ban too?
