Notability[edit]

Someone added the Notability template to this article. However, they didn't explain the reasons for doing so. To me, the article is a useful resource and exactly what an encyclopedia is for, to present information. The United States military created the list and it is referenced by many internet articles discussing ballistic eye protection. Presenting information about the list seems to be very much in the area of Wikipedia's functions.

While I do not like removing templates without first addressing the issues that caused them to be placed, the person placing the template did not list the issues. Therefore, I'm removing the template as part of Be Bold. Should anyone feel it should be restored, please explain your reasons when doing so. Thank you.

I've also removed the Orphan template as I linked it in Ballistic eyewear
