- There are lots of sources, e.g. http://www.cnbc.com/2015/10/16/petition-to-rename-the-australian-dollar-to-the-dollarydoo.html, http://www.marketwatch.com/story/a-petition-to-call-australias-currency-the-dollarydoo-has-50000-signatures-2015-10-19.
- 57 000 people have signed a petition (I can't link to it because change.org is blacklisted by Wikipedia) to change the name of the Australian Dollar to the "Dollarydoo"; this has received widespread media coverage. This probably isn't notable enough to be mentioned in the lede, but it should be mentioned somewhere in the article.
