It was even difficult to find peer reviewed articles that mention linguistic categorization theory as mentioned, the actual theory might be worded differently.

In the Section Based of the Internal and External Explanations of Attribution

I feel like it would be good to add a quick example, let me know if it is any good. "Internal/External explanation of attribution between; it raining outside and kid being sad, a kid is feeling sad so it rains or it is raining so the kid feels sad."
