Proposed merge with Primera División A[edit]

Well, who suggested merging this page with Primera Division A?Openskye (talk) 02:44, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I suggested the merge, because both pages are the same league (the second division of mexico), but have diferent names and competition format and because the liga de ascenso is the official succesor of primera A.random numbers (talk) 19:23, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK. Just wondered where I could vote. I think they should be merged. Just wondered what they would keep, especially since I did some things. Openskye (talk) 19:59, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We could keep the list of champions from primera A and have a redirect, that is if no one disagrees, but we need to vote first so I propose a mergerandom numbers (talk) 20:41, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I vote Yes Openskye (talk) 12:19, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

merge since the league changed their name, it's just like if a Club changed their name. Black'nRed 02:24, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Since no one opposed the merge in 2 weeks, I will do the merge. random numbers (talk) 20:19, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Season format[edit]

We should come up with the same format for the Primera de Ascenso Seasons.

We currently have two versions.

2010 Liga de Ascenso Bicentenario for each apertura and clausura, it stops at clausura 2010

and 2010–11 Liga de Ascenso season for the other seasons where the first half of the article is apertura and the second half is clausura.

We need to merge 2009 Liga de Ascenso Apertura with 2010 Liga de Ascenso Bicentenario or split up 2010–11 Liga de Ascenso season into two different articles.

What do people think? Ceezmad (talk) 22:01, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Liga de Ascenso re-direct[edit]

Why does Liga de Ascenso re-directs to Ascenso MX? There should be a disambiguation page as Liga de Ascenso literally means Promotion League. Having Liga de Ascenso re-direct to Ascenso MX rules out the ability of users finding Liga de Ascenso de Honduras, Liga Nacional de Ascenso of Panama, Primera División de Ascenso of Guatemala, etc. Chupu (talk) 15:17, 18 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

When founded?[edit]

Some clubs, which participated in first season of this league (according to this article), have date of foundation on wikipedia much later than 1994, when was this season. Lagartos de Tabasco - 2002, Halcones de Querétaro - 1997... Maybe data "Founded" is by some mexican clubs wrong? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.103.169.187 (talk) 16:12, 25 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
