Use of picture.[edit]

I'm confused what this picture has to do with the series "Around the World in 80 Days" as a whole. 92.26.30.193 (talk) 14:07, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Around the World in 80 Days (Children in Need 2009)Around the World in 80 Days (documentary) — Relisted. --rgpk (comment) 16:52, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • The ambiguous phrase "Children in Need 2009" is too narrow and too complicated to type. I think "documentary" is more simple and broader. Gh87 (talk) 05:18, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Without the part "Children in Need" it sounds like that it is only about Jules Verne's novel Around the World in 80 Days. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 09:45, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    • What about common sense? Otherwise, how about making "documentary" a redirect page? --Gh87 (talk) 17:18, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, simpler and more standard title, and there doesn't seem to be any other topic it could be confused with.--Kotniski (talk) 08:54, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose The proposed title could be confused with Michael Palin: Around the World in 80 Days in the case of someone attempting direct navigation from the Go box (not that either are really true documentaries, but both are arguably travel TV series, which has the same issue with using (TV series) as a disambiguator). I suggest Around the World in 80 Days (Children in Need TV series) if it really needs changing, but I don't think the case is made that it does - imho due to how many alternate titles there are, most people will be arriving here either through the dab page, through hyperlinks, or external searches, in all of which the current dab will be more relevant. • Comment In response, what if I can create that proposed move title into the disambiguation page? Thank you for reminding me the Michael Palin documentary. --Gh87 (talk) 17:40, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
      • 2 entry dab pages are not ideal, but I can't think of a better way to help readers who would be doing what you suggestand typing it directly, there not being a primary usage imho. If you do create it, do the same for (TV series) too, that's another Wikipedia standard disambiguator. MickMacNee (talk) 20:09, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
        • I have created a proposed page into the redirect page. --Gh87 (talk) 20:54, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Keep brainstorming... Agree that a move is required, but not sure we've got the right title yet. It's not a documentary, nor even a series of them primarily. How about Around the World in 80 Days (reality TV series)? And keep the redirect from the current title of course. Andrewa (talk) 15:50, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
