Ravi Shankar hagiography[edit]

Someone in Washington DC deleted everything about the 13-year-old in "Be that as it may, the marriage started to break down when Ravi fell in love with the 13-year-old sister of their next-door neighbor, classical singer Laxmi Shankar, and ended some years later in divorce." annapurana devi[edit]

ok indian articles are embarrasing enough! let stick to concrete facts!!! anapurana devi is the daughter of Allaudin khan, she plays the surbahar (bass sitar) the day she was born and/or deceased. Musicians are not going to care what it says on annapurana devis door!! they will however be intrested in what are the specifications of her instrument, has she fused with western musicians, whats her favorite composition.....etc etc i see too much unnecessary crap such as all the names of the family and thier neighbours in Indian musicians articles. needs severe cleanups she is a very good classical singer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.241.222.162 (talk) 15:28, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
