Queen of Portugal[edit]

Can she be considered Queen of Portugal? I mean her husband only officially became king of Portugal in 25 March 1581, although he had send the Duke of Alba to claim the throne for him in November 1580, but by then Anne had died a month prior. --Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 09:00, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see how this article had her as Queen consort of Portugal when she was already in her grave when Philip's reign began in March 1581. She was Queen consort of Spain. I have since removed the incorrect information naming her as a Portuguese consort.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 08:38, 27 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
