Notability

I have tagged this article for speedy deletion as it lacks any assertion of Ms. Lo's notability beyond the fact that she is running for a particular political office. Vicjm 18:40, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Having learned that articles were being preemptively created for imminent election winners, I no longer support the deletion of this article. Vicjm 21:44, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Mid Elections

There are elections currently in progess, in which Anna Lo may take a seat in the Northern Irish parliament, being the first chinese person to take a seat in a UK parliament. The preceding comment was added by Daviz 80.41.206.27 (talk) 18:42, 8 March 2007 (UTC).

She has now officially been elected (the only Alliance member to win on first preferences, it appears). --Jfruh (talk) 19:55, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
No she's not the only one to win on first preferences. Naomi Long got in on the first count in East Belfast. -Kain 11:49, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

she may well be the first east Asian born politician elected to any form of government in Northern Ireland but Vu Khnanh Thanh was elected to Hackney Council in 2002 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.242.62.10 (talk) 23:59, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.

The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.

Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 06:28, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
