Removal of material[edit]

User:Suyinchan made a series of edits removing a tremendous amount of sourced material from the article with virtually no explanation. Only her first edit had a summary ("Removed out-dated content"). I have restored the article to before the edits. It may that some of the article needs to be redone, but more justification/explanation is required for such a wholesale gutting of the article.--Bbb23 (talk) 14:55, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Possible conflict of interest?[edit]

According to Andrew Murfett, "After seeing an early show, Cathy Oates, an aunt of the Stones and, handily, a former head of marketing at EMI, offered to manage them".source. User:Cathyoates has extensively edited this page and other Stones' related pages. Orphaned references in Angus & Julia Stone[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Angus & Julia Stone's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Parents detail??[edit]

When I read this article I was struck with the thought that the detail given to the parents is a bit too much. The article is about Angus and Julia, not their mom and dad. Thought to trim it down to what I think is more appropriate, but wanted to run it by others first. Thoughts?THX1136 (talk) 16:40, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The above user asked me to respond. I agree that there is too much detail on their parents, consider WP:NPF. Neither parent is notable in their own right or has their own article. Furthermore this is a band (duo) article and each individual member of the duo has their own article, hence minimal bio detail is required in this article. Can someone please change the main photo?[edit]

First time visiting this article (Angus and Julia Stone), and noticed that the main photo (Edmonton Folk Festival), that's not Angus. That's one of the band members beside Julia.
