Query[edit]

Currently the article says "an anomaly in the temperature of the top floor, which was hotter over a spot where two workmen drowned in the Serpentine" If two people drowned in the Serpentine they would not have been underneath any part of the Albert hall. Is this an error or an unusual "paranormal" meaning of "over a spot"? Ϣere SpielChequers 07:24, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The reference says the following:

But, armed with a rucksack full of gadgets, Green claimed that, before their arrival, he had found the temperature in a top-floor room to be 83 degrees "over the spot where two workmen drowned in the Serpentine, which used to run under here before the hall was built"; his bat recorder had also picked up some bat noise.

Could we please discuss the recent changes?[edit]

@86.26.178.129 and 62.25.106.209: - I've tried to talk to you both on your talk pages regarding the addition of unreferenced content on here, and the 'referenced' material that appears to draw on information I can't see from 'The Independent' article. Though the Independent obituary is not currently linked, it can be found at http://www.independent.co.uk/news/obituaries/andrew-green-6167763.html. It does contain some criticism of Andrew Green, though not the material being added by the IPs. It says "much of the material he published came from unreliable sources, magazine reports and unnamed informants." EdJohnston (talk) 12:58, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
