Work permit[edit]

Kramarić was awarded work permit today by the Home Office. He's now officially Leicester City player.[1]— Preceding unsigned comment added by Acmilancro (talkcontribs) 18:06, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Sorry, that's not a reliable source. Note how it says "according to sources in Croatia" as well. The Leicester Mercury state that the hearing was today, but do not give any indication of what was said. No announcement yet from the club, either. • My bad, I thought it said official. Just saw [2] from Leicester City official Facebook page, and the work permit application has just been endorsed, hopefully he'll get it soon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Acmilancro (talkcontribs) 20:40, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • It did say officially; however, the Express isn't a particularly reliable source, and that article was referencing some unknown Croatian source(s), and given that we're talking about a transfer to England, it was doubtful at best. Factor in the Leicester Mercury report that came out within a few minutes of it, and it's easily discredited. You are correct that the FA has endorsed the work permit (the Leicester City website also verifies that); now all he needs is for the UK Border Agency to rubber-stamp it, and then, finally, he is a Leicester City player. Please add "On January 12th, an FA Panel recommended the approval of work permit, clearing the way for Leicester to apply to the UK Border Agency<ref>{{citeweb|url=http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/9642945/transfer-news-fa-endorses-leicesters-work-permit-application-for-andrej-kramaric|title=Transfer news: FA endorses Leicester's work permit application for Andrej Kramaric|accessdate=2015-01-13|publisher=Sky Sports}}</ref>" to the end of the paragraph, which begins "On January 8th, 2015, Leicester City" Guinness2702 (talk) 15:55, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No comments in two days, so I have added this. (Note that UKBA no longer exists though.) — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 10:34, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The UKBA may no longer exist, but that's what the source says, and we all know wikipedia is based on what is verifiable, not the truth :) Guinness2702 (talk) 14:30, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

He's now officially player of LCFC, why don't you add that to the page? Also, he scored twice for national team but that information is missing. Komakino1 (talk) 14:18, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
