Version to keep[edit]

@Justlettersandnumbers:, may I suggest that we keep this version instead of this version? The former is less promotional and better sourced than the latter, even if it was contributed to by a COI editor. JBchrch talk 10:09, 13 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

JBchrch, I'm sorry but I can't agree. Despite your work (for which, thank you!), the bulk of the content is sourced to his own self-promotional pages; other parts are simply not supported by the sources cited – for example, this source does not say that he was born in Lucca or that he grew up in Fornaci di Barga, but our page did. His version is also written in ungrammatical English (use of the present perfect for events in the past, for example). I plan to copy the useable (i.e., independent) sources (and a couple of titbits of information that they confirm) from his version to the former one, most of which was written by DGG. Is that acceptable to you? Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 10:26, 13 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Justlettersandnumbers: no worries, you seem to have thought this true so I will let you proceed however you feel like. JBchrch talk 12:14, 13 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
