Gold medal at the Winter Olympics 2010[edit]

Dear Sir, maybe, Andrea had a good performance at that Winter Olympics because she became fourth in the downhill race on February 17th. Andrea did have win a bronze medal in the Super-G at the World Championships 2009, therefore one year before. But all insiders did see Lindsey Vonn (gold medal winner of that Downhill race - and double winner in the downhill and Super-G in the World Championships 2009) as a "runaway favorite". Over and above, Andrea was known as a racer who did race in an excellent kind but doing unforced errors. But on February 20th, 2010, she was unbeatable - she did start with bib number 19 (Vonn had 17) and did finish with a margin of 0.74 seconds ahead to her opponent from the U.S. - I remember the "song of praise" by international television commentators who were surprised (beyond all measure). Tina Maze (number 22) did win the silver medal 0.49 sec. behind Andrea. Skiscout (talk) 12:47, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
