Second image caption

In the caption for the second image, the term "OG" is used, which is definitely not encyclopedic language. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:600:A37F:F111:15AF:8E61:EB81:76D (talk) 06:58, 17 October 2021 (UTC)

so? is there a problem? OG is just a slang term. There is nothing called "encyclopedic language". Anyone can easily Google or search Wiktionary and find the meaning. OG just means original or old. HenryOmarCCCmango (talk) 11:03, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
There is though. Wikipedia uses an encyclopedic language (which is more professional sounding) and I agree that we probably should not use slang in the article without a good reason (also OG is short for "original gangster") ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 13:33, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
I guess this is covered by WP:5P2. I don't see it explicitly explained any better than something like WP:TONE. It's one of those things that is so obvious yet subjective and ambiguous that no one has written it down any better into guideline/policy. But I think everyone agrees that "encyclopedic language" is assumed to be used. And "OG" is most definitely not appropriate language when one considers the breadth and scope of readers and how unnecessary it is to use regional slang. —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 13:50, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
It appears that it's been removed from the second image caption as I'm not seeing it anymore. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:22, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
Yep, it was removed/changed in this diff: [1]Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:24, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
