Orphaned references in All for You (Janet Jackson album)[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of All for You (Janet Jackson album)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "RIAA":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 19:30, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 6 external links on All for You (Janet Jackson album). Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).

Assessment comment[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:All for You (Janet Jackson album)/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

Comment(s)Press [show] to view →
Start class:
  • Green tickY A reasonably complete infobox
  • Green tickY A lead section giving an overview of the album
  • Green tickY A track listing
  • Green tickY Reference to at least primary personnel by name (must specify performers on the current album; a band navbox is insufficient)
  • Green tickY Categorisation at least by artist and year

C class:

  • Green tickY All the start class criteria
  • Green tickY A reasonably complete infobox, including cover art
  • Green tickY At least one section of prose (in addition to the lead section)
  • Green tickY A track listing containing track lengths and authors for all songs
  • Green tickY A "personnel" section listing performers, including guest musicians.

B class:

  • Green tickY All the C class criteria
  • Green tickY A completed infobox, including cover art and most technical details
  • Green tickY A full list of personnel, including technical personnel and guest musicians
  • Red XN No obvious issues with sourcing, including the use of blatantly improper sources.
  • Green tickY No significant issues exist to hamper readability, although it may not rigorously follow WP:MOS
Missed B-class due to lack of citations in the album overview section, which takes up most of the article. as well as unreleased track information. Andrzejbanas (talk) 00:39, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bloated legacy section[edit]

Okay, we know Janet is influential, but this is just too much. Some sources are questionable. You don't have to twist critics' reviews to claim that everybody was influenced by this album. Zillions of songs were compared to each other. It means nothing, unless the artists directly acknowledged the work where they took inspirations. Good article[edit]

Why is this article not considered a "good article"? From the looks of it, it should be imo. --90.224.227.162 (talk) 18:03, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Because nobody has nominated it to be classified as such. (CC) Tbhotch 21:27, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
