yes, this article sounds like it was written by an employee/family member of Alice Tuan. it needs to be severely rewritten.

i took out three of the blatant and confusing bias words ("coveted"? how can you show evidence an award was coveted? it's not like it was a tony or obie, and even if it was, there's no need to call those coveted, either), but i am not an expert on playwrights to do this fully. specifically, there are long descriptions of individual plays, which may be great plays, but there is no reason given to justify why they need a paragraph. these include quotes, supposedly from some theater reviewer, but there is no reference or citation. everything like that needs a source - like an objective (edited, not PR text from the author's organization) internet source or paper publication where i can find and read the source myself. overall, i don't agree with the length, it is much longer than bio pages even of more famous playwrights. Hello. I am assessing articles for WikiProject Asian Americans. This article lacks significant details of Ms. Tuan's life, does not include inline citations of sources used, and does not read like a neutral encyclopedia article.
