Discussion of tone issues[edit]

The tone of this article is not encyclopedic. There are many idioms such as:

colorful reputation
answering the call for gold
off the wall
chewed up by the system

The entire section Alfred E. Clarke seems to be copied directly from an article filed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 license (CC BY-NC-SA). This license is listed as not compatable with Wikipedia in the table License Compatibility with Wikipedia. I hesitate to remove the content, because I'm not entirely familiar with the standard protocol or copyright rules and CC definitions. For now I added the attribution tag This article incorporates text available under the CC BY-SA 3.0 license., but this isn't entirely correct. What's the best way to proceed? Virtually the entire article was copy-pasted from several sources, so I've stubified it. CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 is not compatible with Wikipedia. –dlthewave ☎ 21:59, 29 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
