He has never publicly mentioned a partner or child although they do exist. The article fails to mention that his dad is German and his mom is English. He doesn’t claim to be only German. He has lived in the US also while his mom taught on a reservation. He is a man of the world.

Background in martial arts[edit]

What does this mean? I've been doing karate since 1989, including as an instructor, but I would never say I have a background in martial arts. I have a background in the Norwegian school system. Karate is a very important hobby, but not my background. Did he grow up on Okinawa or something?
