Untitled[edit]

I was lead to this page by a disputed link from an article regarding Albert J. Beveridge, Senator from Indiana in the early 20th century. I can find no discussion in any project of Albert J. Beveridge. Why is his biographical article linked to this discussion? 69.234.197.167 (talk) 22:45, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spouse: Catherine Eddy Beveridge[edit]

A diary of Catherine Eddy Beveridge was published by her grandson, Albert J. Beveridge III, in 2005, Hamilton Books, Latham, Maryland. Entitled "The Chronicle of Catherine Eddy Beveridge, An American Girl Travels into the Twentieth Century", the diary covers the years 1902-1908, includes many period photographs, and gives a personal insight into the social world of the American upper class of the time.HardyBoysA (talk) 16:43, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV tag[edit]

I have placed the NPOV tag on the article because, in its current state, it cast Beveridge as a imperialist and a racist without putting any context to the whole thing. This is primarily a problem also, in my opinion, because it does not discus the major rift he created in the state Republican party because of his views, his virtually being expelled from the party, and the long term damage he did the state party (as other progressives did nationally) when he left it. Fixing this up has been on my to-do list for sometime. I just have not been able to get around to it. —Charles Edward (Talk | Contribs) 12:02, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I take the view that it's better to remove problematic material rather leave it in and uglify the article with an large banner, so I've removed the quote for now. Flowerparty 13:47, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
