Book and TV dramatisation[edit]

I thought Akenham was the subject of a book by Roland Blythe, using a fictional name, and a later naturalistic tv drama directed by Peter Hall. Edit: see Akenfield. 92.15.2.17 (talk) 10:49, 21 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Akenham Burial Case[edit]

The link provided to the excellent article by Simon Knott, based on the two books by Ronald Fletcher, In a Country Churchyard [1] and The Akenham Burial Case [2], strongly suggest that the episode certainly deserves its own article. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:59, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

At any rate the framing used in this article doesn't seem very encyclopedia-like at all - it's very sensationalist and serves only as a sort of teaser advertisement for the link, without giving any actual information about the case in any way, shape, or form in the article itself. "A scandal" it says, "that changed the laws" it says, but does it say what the scandal is or give any useful information? No, it does not.
