• How fast does the air travel?
• How big is an average room?
• Where is it used? (i.e. hospitals, chemistry labs, etc.)
• What are the requirements it needs to pass an inspection?

The picture

In this case, "tacky" is a synonym for "sticky." I'll go ahead and change it, though, as both "tacky" and "sticky" seem to be used, and "sticky" is probably clearer. 107.10.43.91 (talk) 03:03, 23 September 2011 (UTC)

"Due to the requirement of near sterile conditions in cleanrooms"

Hello. I saw this directly after reading about Cleanrooms (I don't actually know anything about either of these myself). The cleanroom page says "Cleanrooms are not sterile (i.e., free of uncontrolled microbes);[3] only airborne particles are controlled". So to me it would seem that one of these pages is wrong. I would think it is likely to be this page? Could someone please confirm this and perhaps remove this mention of cleanrooms being sterile? Thank you.80.7.27.189 (talk) 21:59, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

I agree that it's not precise, but removing airborne particles and moisture does improve sterility (the "bugs" are often on the particulates.) Clean-rooms are also used in the pharma/biotech research & industry and may be considered sterile.
