Problems with this article[edit]

I understand that the person creating this page appears to be a new editor and may not be accustomed to Wikipedia style and practices. I'm going to do a run down of some of the basic problems that this page is facing. Please note that this list will have a lot of links to Wikipedia guidelines which the editor is encouraged to follow to get more detailed information.

The fact that this article contains a lot of unsourced material as well as being phrased in ways to show the subject in a positive light suggests that there may be a conflict of interest, that the author of this material may have some ties to the subject that would encourage creating a less-than-neutral page. Indeed, the editor's name at least raises the possibility that this is an autobiography. Creating or editing pages where you have a conflict of interest is heavily discouraged.
Much of the material is unsourced. For example, there is no source for the entire "Early life" section. Wikipedia rests on its material being verifiable, particularly when it comes to biographies of living people.
Much of the material that does have some reference listed doesn't point to a reliable source for that information. For a blatant example, the sentence "He was also honoured as an inspirational Nigerian by Those Who Inspire Ltd." is sourced to this fake picture of a book which, even if it were a real photo, does not carry the information listed in the sentence. Or a statement like "he mentors and inspires young people to dream higher and realise their potentials" is sourced to his own Facebook page - this is a boastful claim that we would be unlikely to put in Wikipedia's voice even if some reliable third party had set it, much less a claim being supported simply by the subject himself. Much of the boastful material is sourced to the organization he runs, which is clearly not a third-party source.
The continued insertion of his "Dr." goes against our guidelines at WP:DOCTOR, which states Academic and professional titles (such as "Doctor" or "Professor") should not be used. Verifiable facts about how the person attained such titles should be included in the article text instead.
The continuous use of the subject's full name doesn't conform to WP:SURNAME. Once his full name has been introduced in the lead and once it's been introduced in the body, he should be referred to simply by his last name except in cases where doing so might cause some confusion (such as when discussing his relationship with his brother.)
The photographs are of questionable provenance, as one photographer is claiming to have taken them all, but one is a photo on which the UN claims copyright, and others are of sufficiently diverse location that the single photographer claim gives me pause. If the creation of these photographs is being misrepresented, then we are dealing with a copyright violation.
Links to other Wikipedia articles should be made with [[two brackets on each side like this]], rather than with [one bracket] as the editor is sometimes doing.

I have not delved enough into the quality of sources to see if the subject meets our guidelines of notability of biographies.

Official representative voice[edit]

The repeatedly inserted claim that "CYC is the official representative voice of the more than 1.2 billion young people in the 53 Commonwealth nations" is sourced solely to the CYC themselves, which is in no way a reliable source for that dubious claim (how did each of these 1.2 billion young people make this group their voice?) We would need a reliable, third-party source for such a boastful claim. I can quite easily claim that I am the official voice for those 1.2 billion people; that doesn't make it so. --Nat Gertler (talk) 18:11, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
