Adilson started playing golf at 13. Initially starting out as a caddy on weekends and having to collect golf balls to sell at his local club to earn enough money to hit balls at the driving range at Santa Cruz Country Club.

unfortunately his parents could not afford for him to participate in golf, so his father had made him a wooden club from the branch of a tree, and balls well - he had to find those.

Adilson was then Given an opportunity by a Zimbabwean Businessman Andrew Edmondson to move to Zimbabwe Africa at 15 to be able to hone in his skills as a golfer.

Under the watchful eye of Tim Price, golfing legend Nick Price’s brother Adilson some years later turned professional.

He started out his career on the South African Tour ( sunshine Tour ). Then some years later after playing in South Africa and some European events Adilson qualified and moved on to play on the Asian Tour for 11 years before entering life on the Legends Tour in Europe at 50 in 2022.

Adilson won Barry Lane Rookie of the year 2022 on the Legends tour finishing second on the order of merit.

One of Adilson’s most memorable experiences apart from playing in Major events was playing in the Rio Olympics 2016 on home soil not one he has done much of and was given the honour by the International Golfing Federation of teeing off first introducing golf back as an Olympic Sport after 112years. 197.231.145.0 (talk) 09:36, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
