Notice: This article does not verifiably establish WP:BIO[edit]

In my opinion, this article either does not verifiably satisfy the Notability criteria for Biographies, or it may violate the Conflict of interest guideline, or perhaps it is a Copyright violation.

Untitled[edit]

Wikipedia articles must be based on reliable sources to verify any claims of notability. Even though the lack of reliable sources in an article is not grounds for deletion in itself, an article with absolutely no sources (or only external links to unreliable ones) suggests to some editors that multiple reliable sources may not, in fact, exist.

Although I am considering tagging this article for deletion according to the Deletion policy, I am nonetheless willing to assist User:Rider33 (talk · contribs), and other recent contributors to this article, to make some constructive improvements to it ... I do not have time to examine this article in depth at the moment, and it may improve over time, in which case this warning was premature.

Please respond on this Discussion page, instead of on my Talk page, in order to avoid fragmenting the conversation.

To better understand why I have used this template, please read Flag templates for deletion warnings ... I realize that some of the expressed possible concerns may not be appropriate in this case.

Conflict of Interest[edit]

Hello, fellow editors ...

Rider33 (talk · contribs) admits on their User page that they are the subject of this article that they have created, and thus they have violated WP:AUTO ... coupled with the lack of WP:RS secondary coverage to satisfy WP:BIO or WP:ATHLETE (links to the subject's own website are primary sources), I've put as much lipstick on this pig as I can, but I'm going to submit it for deletion Real Soon Now. — 72.75.98.105 (talk) 22:39, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My bad! Looks like they were just using their User page as a sandbox. — 72.75.98.105 (talk) 03:01, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lipstick on a pig[edit]

Well, Olympian is sufficient WP:N for WP:ATHLETE, so I'm going to reformat the citations with {{Cite web}} templates, remove the Category:Flagged articles from this Discussion page, and then MOVE ON ... Happy Editing! — 72.75.82.202 (talk · contribs) 19:43, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

 Done ... looks like I'd already removed it from Flagged articles. — 72.75.82.202 (talk) 20:07, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
