Naming

I don't know how to do this, could someone assist: This company normally goes by the name "austriamicrosystems" all in lower case and as a single word. Can this be added to the search function? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Colin99 (talkcontribs) 19:35, 13 November 2005 (UTC)

OK, I have fixed that after request at WP:EAR. Jezhotwells (talk) 16:59, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Rockbox cooperation

AMS are cooperating with Rockbox (see the rockbox wiki article on it for details). I'd say this should be included in some way and updated when there are more details. --82.211.247.19 11:20, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Photograph

The photograph has been changed to a non-photographic corporate flyer which is inappropriate for an encyclopedia. However the aerial shot within that flyer would be worthy if available. I propose that a more photographic image be located, or I will reinstate the original one in due course. Colin99 (talk) 22:05, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

I need some advice concerning this article

Hi everyone! I hope you like my rewritten article about this company. Because of its history and because of being the only Austrian microelectronic company it is significant to us Austrians. As the company has strong ties to the US I thought a proper English Wikipedia article would be in order. Should you have doubts or questions, let’s discuss them here. The main reason I write to those how may read this is that I could not find any references about the Château in English. As I also wrote the German version I know it’s correct. In the German version I have a few references. So what can I do? I don’t really want to delete it since it’s interesting. But if there is no other way I will do so if asked. My proposal would be that I reference it to the German version which I translated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thumas (talkcontribs) 08:36, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

You can't use articles on other language Wikipedias as a reference, because Wikipedia is inherently unreliable. You can however use the same references/sources as the German Wikipedia article if no English source is available. – ukexpat (talk) 15:00, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
Thanks. I have a question concerning the cleanup of Styria. True it is not the country but it is a federal state of Austria so it might still be of some interest. What do you think? –  Thumas (talkcontribs) 08:36, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

removing Tags

  • Hello everybody. Since I have rewritten the article and not copied and pasted anything from anywhere I think the Copypaste|date=July 2009 tag could be removed. What do you think?
  • I have also spent some time looking for good reverences. I think they support the article well. So the Unreferenced|date=July 2009 tag could be removed. What do you think?
  • Although I am a proud Austrian I have tried to write this article from an unbiased point of view, I think I have done a good job. So the Advert|date=July 2010 tag could be removed too. What do you think? –  Thumas (talkcontribs) 08:36, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
