Unnecessary material?[edit]

Should we delete the information about Jo Kwon being diagnosed with H1N1? It doesn't fit in "Members activity outside of the group". Since this piece of information is already in his individual page, I think it's unnecessary here. Also, I think this title is a little too long, why not change it to "Individual activities"? Iamoxymoron (talk) 12:07, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Jo Kwon has a stand alone article where that information would be more appropriate. I dont think it merits mention here unless the source states that it somehow impacted the group (cancelled performances, led them to do H1N1 awareness campaigns etc.) Active Banana (bananaphone 18:23, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The source didn't state any impact on the group as a whole. I've deleted the line in question.  Done Iamoxymoron (talk) 14:58, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion[edit]

We can expand this article by adding stuff about Kwon's duet with J-Lim, Homme and Jinwoon's Idol Maknae Rebellion. With all the referencing or it's going to get trashed. Anyone interested in participating? Iamoxymoron (talk) 12:07, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Inconsistency in English song titles[edit]

For example, "I Did Wrong" vs "I Was Wrong" and "Can't Let You Go Even If I Die" vs "Even If I Die I Can't Let You Go". Since there's no official english title for the songs, which should we use? Are there any native speakers who can help? Or should we just go with the more grammatically correct title? Iamoxymoron (talk) 18:13, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: consensus to move the page, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 05:22, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

2AM2AM (band) – "2AM" normally would mean the time, so this title should be redirected to 2 A.M. disambiguation page; additionally 2am and 2 AM should also be repointed to the disambiguation page -- 67.70.35.44 (talk) 07:08, 31 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Survey[edit]

Feel free to state your position on the renaming proposal by beginning a new line in this section with *'''Support''' or *'''Oppose''', then sign your comment with ~~~~. Since polling is not a substitute for discussion, please explain your reasons, taking into account Wikipedia's policy on article titles.
  • Support current title fails WP:AT Gregkaye 09:03, 31 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC - I concur with the IP the time would be far more known than some minor Japanese band. –Davey2010(talk) 17:44, 31 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. It probably makes sense to move this, given the other entries on the disambiguation page, but the time "2AM" is not likely to be a notable encyclopedia topic, and thus isn't really a reason to move the page. Note: 5 AM, 3pm, 11AM. Dekimasuよ! 18:39, 31 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support evidently fails WP:AT and WP:DAB. In ictu oculi (talk) 01:12, 1 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

Question[edit]

Following the move of this page, does it also make sense to look at 2PM, the associated act that's at its base title? (I won't be initiating any requests, but thought it made sense to ask.) Dekimasuよ! 19:02, 9 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

– I just have create the requested move Talk:Seventeen (South Korean band)#Requested move 21 February 2021 and read Talk:BTS/Archive 2#Requested move 8 December 2018 (per WP:BANDDAB). (But the story was) I, as K-pop fan, was traumatized to FNC Entertainment about d.o.b (Dance or Band), a survival show which was competition between boy band with and without musical instruments in 2016. Like the music video of Project Pop's "Boy Band", in first 30 seconds, I saw there was the group with musical instrument, they gave a demo CD to the manager, but he said "I'm not searching group band, but BOY BAND!", and finally the other group (instead of Project Pop) that became a boy band, which was the group WITHOUT musical instruments, came to the manager's room. -St3095 (?) 14:03, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Strong oppose for all the reasons stated at Talk:BTS/Archive 2#Requested move 8 December 2018. I also don't see why you're mentioning or quoting Dance or Band because it has nothing to do with this. Alex (talk) 14:36, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • @Alexanderlee: But I strong support it. If the result of this proposal is not moved, then every boy bands are band, which means the musical ensemble members perform by playing musical instruments and I'll re-create this proposal! -St3095 (?) 15:12, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
      • @St3095: If the consensus is not to move and you re-create it then you're wasting editors time because you didn't get the answer you wanted. Alex (talk) 09:54, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose WP:TRAINWRECK. Also, reality shows don't dictate Wikipedia policy. 162.208.168.92 (talk) 14:39, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose WP:TRAINWRECK, and there are indications that some articles you requested to move is clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, such as ONF. 110.137.166.20 (talk) 15:19, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, it is useful to have such a distinction where there is an actual instrumental band with the same name. BD2412 T 04:45, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose group is way too general, it could be a company or a firm for example, a BTS group wiki page exist and it's a firm, group would just create confusion being so general a word with so many application that doesn't only aplly to a musical group.Randomtired (talk) 13:19, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose speedy close per WP:TRAINWRECK. and also being wrong. These are (band)s (group) is a bad dab to anyone outside the local consensus that proposed it. In ictu oculi (talk) 14:39, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per WP:TRAINWRECK.
In particular, oppose The Boyz (South Korean band)The Boyz (group); which is a redirect to DAB page Boyz on which there are two other entries with "group" in the qualifier. Narky Blert (talk) 13:40, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose already been discussed with consensus against more than once. Vague term that only serves to obscure what these pages are actually about. Leesandeul (talk) 21:59, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Need to be looked at on a case-by-case basis. The term "group" does not only refer to a musical group and some of these proposed names could also refer to other organisations. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:55, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Current agency[edit]

Does anyone know who they're signed with? I've seen that for their upcoming album they got a song from both JYP and Bang Shihyuk, but no words saying they resigned with both. Ukiss2ne14lyfe (talk) 19:59, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

2AM Covid-19 Positive[edit]

3 members tested positive for the virus (Covid-19), when will this be added?, Or is this "fake news", about the artists testing positive?, May I get a confirmation? Hamster Lover99 (talk) 17:23, 12 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Hamster Lover99: unless it has any effect on their career, there's not really any need to mention it. At this point it's a pretty insignificant thing. As for getting a confirmation, please remember that this isn't a forum to keep updated on their lives, reliable sources are needed for anything to be added so ideally you should be looking for these before asking about adding anything to articles.
