Driver selection[edit]

No evidence that all 2020 drivers will be retained for 2021. Should this section be removed until an actual driver list for 2021 is confirmed? It makes no sense to assume that the 2021 lineup will be the same as the 2020 lineup would have been, especially when sources don't support this assertion, so far as I can see. A French article says these are the 18 first drivers: https://www.autohebdo.fr/monoplace/f3/actualites/les-premieres-pilotes-choisies-pour-la-w-series-2021-214997.html LoupDragon42 (talk) 17:23, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Do not understand what the dispute is here. The series confirmed in December the first 18 drivers. The only question could be the car numbers, but the drivers are confirmed. The text in the drivers section should be worded better than it is. Here is the series website link and there were multiple other sources on 17 December 2020 that can be looked up. https://wseries.com/w-hub/2021-driver-line-up-announced/ Mcbjmund (talk) 1:45, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
I see what happened. Another user had deleted the 17 December 2020 confirmation reference from the article for some unknown reason. A reference with new text just needs to be added back into the article. Mcbjmund (talk) 1:59, 21 January 2021 (UTC)

Mexico Race Cancellation[edit]

The article states that the Mexico race was cancelled due to COVID, but from what I've seen, it was due to the F1 rescheduling: https://wseries.com/w-hub/w-series-at-the-double-in-austin-for-2021-season-finale/ (I think this was when they added Saudi Arabia to the F1 calendar? Not sure though)

Just thought it was worth bringing up here because I'm not sure if it's worth amending or if saying COVID is sufficient. A Doctor Who (talk) 11:10, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
