How is MEG eligible for the I league qualifiers?[edit]

How is MEG of Bengalore Super Division eligible while KSEB, Punjab Police and CRPF not eligible for the I league qualifiers? Bharat0078 (talk) 14:01, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That's why the professional football shaping is not Cristal clear! Harsh bt that's reality. Billjones94 (talk) 14:19, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

MEG, KSEB, PUNJAB POLICE, CRPF , AIR FORCE ETC are public sector undertakings. AIFF had released a statement few year before mentioning these teams will not eligible for ileague. In NFL you can see PSU teams. MalabarGun (talk) 15:00, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Why is J&K Bank FC not eligible[edit]

Why is JKFA winners J&K Bank FC not eligible for the 2nd division they are not the government team they are owned by a private Bank just like last season's AU Rajasthan FC. @Messi Khar: @MalabarGun: @Billjones94: Bharat0078 (talk) 13:46, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That's why the professional football shaping is not Cristal clear! Harsh bt that's reality. I'm also not taking these matters easily; AIFF is 😆 Billjones94 (talk) 14:24, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

But they should be nominated as they are the champions previously they were also interested in 2018 but AIFF chose Lonestar kashmir. Bharat0078 (talk) 14:34, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 3 September 2021[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: moved to 2021 I-League Qualifiers.

There is no support for keeping this article at its current name, so it must be moved. The proposer now supports moving to 2021 I-League Qualifiers, which Lee Vilenski also supports (albeit weakly). GiantSnowman supports move to "2021 I-League qualifying tournament or something", which could include the proposed name. Accordingly I find a (weak) consensus to move to that name. 2020–21 I-League 2nd DivisionI-League Qualifiers 2021 – For the last 2 years, the format of this division has changed. Instead of a league, it's a qualifier tournament held just before the I-League. There are no constant teams. Teams are being nominated by the state FAs and final selection is being done by AIFF. No pyramid structure as such for the past couple of years. All media reports, official websites mention it as I-League Qualifiers. So, I would like to propose that the name of season articles of the past 2 years, i.e. 2020 and 2021, should be changed.  Saha ❯❯❯ Stay safe  13:48, 3 September 2021 (UTC) — Relisting. Adumbrativus (talk) 09:21, 12 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
