I think the title is confusing 9/07. Make it German terror plot September 2007. Please take into account that date formats differ per country. Andries 21:05, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think that eventually the adjective "alleged" should be dropped from the title, because the evidence seems very strong, but better wait for the trial before doing that. Wikipedia has already made too many mistakes in the past. Andries 09:09, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, once the trial comes, we can drop the alleged, but I think the 2006 Toronto terrorism case has made me wary - three have been released on bail (a de facto admission that they are not terrorists), one has had all charges dropped, and it's turned out this really does seem to be about something quite different from the "Terrorism" that the media sold us. Merge with Tolga Dürbin? I don't see why one suspect should get his own article and the others not. Dürbin has no notoriety outside this story.--87.162.11.108 13:48, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Durbin is actually "unrelated" to this plot, other than being friends with the ringleader - but he was arrested on charges of an entirely different plot. Sherurcij (Speaker for the Dead) 14:30, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have to say I don't feel the infobox is right for this article, when it's not an actual "civilian attack" but an "alleged plot", there's too much "possibly attacking X or Y, the airport, possibly aligned with Z", etc. There is no "|date=" information on a plot, or "|nuberofInjuries=" - the infobox is just not useful for summarising an alleged plot. Unless there's a solid consensus to keep it, I'm going to remove. Can I hear any opinions on this? Sherurcij (Speaker for the Dead) 23:47, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

TALK PAGES ARE NOT A SOAPBOX

I think the explosive that was intended to be used was rather an organic peroxide, most likely acetone peroxide, as you should get really bored while trying to blow somthing up with hydrogen peroxide... -- Kronos 95.114.250.48 (talk) 22:08, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Initials rather than names?[edit]

Why are the people in this article repeatedly referred to by initials - G., S., A.S - rather than their names? Seems very strange for an encyclopedia entry. 130.246.148.53 (talk) 15:15, 4 September 2020 (UTC) Standard for German newspapers, I suppose someone from that country wrote the article. I find it incredibly difficult to read, and all full names are stated in the article. if someone would change this to last name use throughout it would be much better and consistent with other English wiki articles. 46.15.4.185 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 16:16, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
