40 teams or 32?[edit]

The article mentions that the field of contestants was reduced from 40 to 32 for the second year in a row. However, the WP article for the 2006 NIT shows that there were 40 teams last year. The source for this statement in the 2007 article is Ref 3, an AP article that has a confusing or incorrect sentence about this. BartonM 15:50, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
