Only instance?[edit]

The lead says: "To date it is the only instance when a sitting Prime Minister has been challenged for leadership". This should certainly be qualified as "in New Zealand", but isn't the successful 1997 challenge of Jim Bolger by Jenny Shipley a counter-example? I realise that Bolger resigned rather than face a vote he knew he would lose, is that why this is not counted?-gadfium 23:05, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've reworded it a bit to instead read "...challenged for leadership in a caucus vote" as your right, Bolger was challenged (as was Muldoon). Kiwichris (talk) 03:01, 1 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
