"Peter Barry"'s affiliation[edit]

Surely this was just a paper candidate to force a contest and offer voters pro and anti Agreement options, rather than a serious campaign? Shouldn't "Barry" be listed as "For The Anglo-Irish Agreement" rather than "Independent Unionist"? What serious Unionist candidate would change their name to the Republic's Foreign Minister?!?!
