But what does it mean?[edit]

The intro says "The 1983 Philadelphia Phillies season involved the Phillies winning the National League East Division title with a record of 90-72, six games over the Pittsburgh Pirates".

What does "90-72, six games" mean? Remember, many readers are not au fait with baseball. Moriori (talk) 23:19, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
