The League Cup Semi Final in 1978-79 was not against Morton as stated in the article. It was against Hibernian. How do I know? Because I am trying to find the exact date of the game which was pplayed at Dens Park Dundee and have the programme in my hand. It was a 1-0 win to Aberdeen aet and the scorer was Stuart Kennedy. In fact, have now found out that the date was 13/12/79. The Morton match was the following 1979-80 season on 01/12/79 at Hampden Park, Glasgow. The result is correct but the entry is in the wrong season. I have no idea how to correct Wikipedia so if anyone comes across these notes who does, please feel free.
