Do we know anything how these events were described by Soviet and GDR historians? How does the official accounts of the KPÖ itself describe these events? --Soman (talk) 22:37, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The few Soviet-period books that I've checked don't say much about it. Basically, the whole occupation of Austria was something that was better be forgotten; the 1950 affair was presented as a labor conflict (with the evil Angloamerikaners crawling in the background), perhaps with exagerrated number of participants, that's all.
