start Trans-Siberian railway[edit]

On May 19 (May 31 - new style) 1891, at 10:00 o'clock in the morning a public prayer was held in the special pavilion not far from the city was held. On May 19 (31), 1891 in 10 a.m. in area of Kuperovskaya fold in Vladivostok city ceremony of grand laying of the railway was carried out and a service on this occasion was held.
