İstisu, Kalbajar → Istisu, Kalbajar — There is no letter "İ" in English. Additionally, GEONet Database mentioned as a source in the article uses letter "I" -- Ashot ^(talk) 20:03, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose per wp:diacritics and WP:Naming conventions (geographic names) accepted convention on wikipedia to use local characters for local place names [1] unless there is an English exonym (e.g. Florence not "Firenze", Gothenburg not Göteborg) ^walk victor falk^talk 09:42, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose per invalid reasoning—İstisu isn't English, it's Azeri. There are no letters "Ł", "Ó" or "Ź" in English but that doesn't stop us having the title of the article about a well-known Polish city as Łódź. Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page[edit]

If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.
