Rhea Margaret Norwood (born 3 June 2001)[1] is an English actress. She is best known for her role as Imogen Heaney in the Netflix teen series Heartstopper (2022–present).[2] She also appeared in the Channel 4 drama Consent (2023)[3] and the Amazon Prime comedy Your Christmas or Mine 2 (2023).

Early life and education[edit]

Norwood was born on 3 June 2001 in Kingston upon Thames.[1] Norwood attended Hinchley Wood School and Esher College.[4] Norwood was also a member of the Rose Youth Theatre in Kingston.[5] Norwood graduated from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Acting.[6]

Norwood was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2022.[7]

Career[edit]

In 2021, Norwood responded to an open casting[8] for the Netflix teen series Heartstopper and was cast in the role of Imogen Heaney.

In 2022, Norwood was cast in the role of Alice in Channel 4's standalone drama Consent.[9] She also appeared at The Pleasance, Islington, as Violet in A Pigment of Your Imagination.

In 2023, Norwood landed the role of Bea in the Amazon Prime comedy sequel Your Christmas or Mine 2.
