Rancho San Pedro Locos

The Rancho San Pedro Locos (RSP) is a Mexican American street gang from the Rancho San Pedro projects in San Pedro, California. The gang was founded in the 1970s. They are connected to the Sureños[1]

In 2011, 81 members were arrested by a gang sweep called "Operation Pirate Town" by 1,300 federal, state and local law enforcement officers.[1]

Until 1996, Dodge City Crips and Rancho San Pedro coexisted in the Rancho San Pedro housing projects, until a Dodge City Crip member was murdered, with the Rancho San Pedro Gang allegedly behind the killing.[2] Fatal shootouts occurred between Dodge City and Rancho San Pedro members.
