Reorg[edit]

I think there are some problems with the current lists. I'm mostly concerned with entries that contain multiple hooks that are of similar types. For example, those with two or three articles about church buildings. I think most, if not all, the articles can be divided into the following groups:

  • Church buildings (including monasteries, chapels, etc.)
  • Other buildings and locations (neighborhoods, vineyards, colleges, etc.)
  • People (Saints, popes, cardinals, bishops, priests, religious, laity, etc.)
  • Offices and positions
  • Events (Conclaves, councils, battles, crusades, disputes, etc.)
  • Art (paintings, statues, etc.)
  • Devotional practices and items (Scapulars, rosaries, etc.)
  • Writings, codices, scrolls, and manuscripts
  • Other miscellaneous items.

To make sure each DYK points to a variety of items and is therefore more "interesting", I think each entry should have at most two items from any given category, and preferably only one. I also think geographic diversity is important, so no entry should have two items directly tied to a particular country. I'm going to use this area to list which DYKs I have a problem with, and figure out how best to reorganize the DYK entries. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
