Pocitos is an upscale beach neighborhood in Uruguay's capital city, Montevideo. The neighborhood is known for its beach, Playa Pocitos, and the Rambla, or boulevard, that lies alongside it.

Estadio Centernario is a stadium in Montevideo, Uruguay (34.8945° S, 56.1527° W) used primarily for football. Built with a capacity of 100,000 not only to host several matches in the inaugural 1930 FIFA World Cup, including the final which was won by hosts Uruguay.

The Executive Tower of Montevideo, is the seat of the executive power of the government and the working place of the President of Uruguay. It is 56 meters tall and was inaugurated in its present form in 2009. The construction of the original building started in 1965 and was meant to be used as the Palace of Justice, but the project remained halted until 2006.
