Beijing Tiananmen Square 180 degree overview picture

Viewpoint is from Tiananmen Gate, looking south.
Plain-clothed and armed PLA Paramilitary can be seen standing guard at both ends of the photo.
The building to the left is the Museum of Chinese History.
The towered building beyond the far left corner of the square is the Victorian era railway station, now used for shops.
Directly ahead is the Monument to the People's Heroes and beyond that is the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong.
To the right is the Great Hall of the People.
The waterway in the foreground is the Imperial Palace en:moat.
