Kapil Parmar

Kapil Parmar (born 2000) is a para-athlete from Madhya Pradesh. He represented at the 2022 Asian Para Games held at Hangzhou, China and won a silver medal in the men's Judo 60 kg J1 event.[1][2][3]

Background[edit]

Parmar hails from Bhopal but trains under coach Munawar Anzar Ali Siddiqui at the Indian Para Judo Academy in Lucknow.[4]

Career[edit]

Parmar won silver medal at the Asian Para Games in October 2023.[5] In March 2023, he won the J1 60 kg gold in the 2023 IBSA Judo Grand Prix Alexandria.[6] In August 2023, he won a bronze medal in the IBSA World games at Birmingham, UK.[4][7] He won a gold medal at the 2019 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, UK.[7]
