Infection Free Zone is a post-apocalyptic survival city-building game developed by Jutsu Games and published by Games Operators for Windows. It was released for early access on April 11, 2024.[1]

Gameplay[edit]

The player can play at any map based on real world location. The game map uses 3D alteration of real world map data from OpenStreetMap.[2]

Development[edit]

The demo version of the game titled Infection Free Zone – Prologue was released on October 19, 2023, for Steam.[3] In this demo, player can play at six major cities, including Paris and Cambridge,[4] for eight days in-game duration only.[5]

Reception[edit]

The early access version of the game received mixed reviews upon release. Ed Smith of PCGamesN described it as mixing Cities Skylines 2 with Dying Light and Frostpunk.[8] Aidan Lambourne of PC Invasion praised the game post-apocalyptic setting stating it as "simulate the apocalypse anywhere in the world", but criticize the gameplay survival experience by saying "a thrilling yet average zombie survival experience".[7]
