Gel Kheyl (Persian: گل خيل)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Mehravan Rural District[4] of the Central District of Neka County, Mazandaran province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 755 in 185 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 705 people in 214 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 659 people in 211 households.[2]
